About me
Hello! I’m Viper (she/her), a 25-year-old Warhammer 40k obsessed human. I’ve been an avid fan of 40k for the past 4 years which has now filled my life with miniatures, books, games, and merchandise. As an expression of my passion for this universe, I wanted to finally try and bring my own fan-OCs to life and build a story that’ll hopefully reach a fraction of how good the best of Black Library is. ♥
Disclaimer I am the absolute definition of an amateur, I have no background in writing so everything is a learning process for me. If you’re expecting Dan Abnett levels of story I’m afraid I can’t compete! Nonetheless I hope you will still enjoy my writing :D

Glossary for those new to the 40k universe :
Imperium : Galactic wide empire led by the Lords of Terra (Earth) and united under the God Emperor of Mankind
Warp : Immaterial plane parallel to the real world where the laws of physics do not apply. Every Human’s soul is tied to this realm, where emotions are made manifest. Home to Chaos.
Archenemy : The forces of Chaos, daemons and heretics that follow dark Gods.
Imperial Knight : Bipedal house sized machine of war piloted by a single soul. There exists multiple different variants, each varying in size and weaponry (Armigers , Questoris , Cerastus , Dominus). They usually serve under a House led by a Monarch. There exist loyalist and heretical versions.
Inquisition : organization divided into three ordos (Hereticus/Malleus/Xenos) that seek to route out enemies of the Imperium in relative secrecy.
Astra Militarum : Imperial Guard, main fighting force of the Imperium
Navis Imperialis : Imperial Navy, responsible for the fleets of starships of the Imperium
Adeptus Astartes/Space Marine : Genetically enhanced super-human capable of facing the toughest of battles
Adeptus Mechanicus/Mechanicum : Order of priests that worship technology and the Omnissiah (Machine God), equally adept at maintaining such technology
Servitor : Lobotomized or artificially grown human designed to serve the Imperium as a biomechanical computer.
Psyker : Rare gene allowing a human to chanel energy from the warp to manifest supernatural powers such as throwing lightning or reading minds.
